Norb Luebbering

Norb Luebbering was born in St.Thomas, Missouri, to Lawrence and Hedwig Luebbering. He received his GED in 1954 and served in the United State Marine Corps from 1953 - 1955. Norb attended the University of Missouri from 1955 - 1960. He is married to the former Vera Lynn Tellman, and they have 6 children: Terri Davis(Bob); Chelle Shepard (Mike); Kim Baumgartner (Danny); Kay Benward (Jeff); Jason (Jill); and the late Jayne. All of Norb's children attended Helias. Norb and Vera Lynn are the grandparents of 16 grandchildren. They are members of St. Joseph Cathedral. Norb is president and general manager of Cole County Industries.

A strong supporter of Helias, Norb has tirelessly given of his time and resources. He provided services and materials for numerous construction projects at the school and for Helias soccer fields. He has been a generous supporter of the Helias wrestling program since 1989, and he has been a fundraiser for the Helias band for many years.

Norb has served his community and church in many capacities. He has been a member of Missouri Concrete Associaion, the National Ready Mix Association, Home Builders of Jefferson City, Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce. He's also served with Knights of Columbus, the Marine Corps League, National Federation of Independent Businesses and Helias Athletic Booster Club. Norb is a recipient of the Helias High School Distinguished Service Award and was a Grand Marshall for Helias homecoming parade. In 1995, Norb received an honorary diploma from Helias High School. Norb has donated concrete many, many times not only to Helias, but also to his church for projects. He is a past member of the Parish Council.
